Use this guide to install Chithi, connect accounts, understand its local data, and diagnose common problems.

Start here

1. Read Install Chithi for current platform and release status.
2. Follow First launch to open Chithi and add an account.
3. Use Account setup for the fields and authorization flow required by your provider.
4. For video meetings, follow the provider guide for Nextcloud Talk, Matrix / Element Call, Zoom, or La Suite Visio.

Keep Chithi working

• Troubleshooting covers provider sign-in, keyring, synchronization, remote images, and update behavior.
• Privacy and local data lists data, logs, credentials, and the steps needed to remove them.
• The public privacy policy explains the roles of Chithi, configured providers, and the documentation website.

Chithi is pre-1.0 software. Features and storage formats can change, so back up local data before upgrades and verify the behavior important to you.
